Returning Your Hire Equipment

Are you ready to return your hired items? Follow these steps to ensure a smooth return process and prompt security bond refund.

Pic-A-Picnics Pick-up
Use the provided QR code to text us or call with your details, and we will be on-site shortly for pack-down and collection. Please ensure the setup area is left tidy and free of loose rubbish, allowing our team to safely and efficiently complete the collection.

You are not required to stay until we return for pack-down, but we appreciate being informed prior to your departure from the location. For a smooth collection process, use the provided QR code or text communication to notify us if you leave the event early.

Table and Event Styling
At the end of your hire period, an Escena team member will collect all hired items as per the inventory list provided during delivery and setup. Please ensure all items are packed securely and appropriately to prevent damage before collection. Notify us of any breakages prior to pickup, as damages identified after collection may be considered as being made before our collection and may result in incorrect deductions from your security bond.

Customers must ensure items are available for pickup at the agreed time and location. For setups requiring pack-down services, access to the site must be granted as scheduled to avoid delays.

All equipment must be returned within the agreed hire period. Delays in pickup or collection may incur additional charges unless arranged in advance. As with all setups, customers should ensure the site is accessible at the agreed time for pack-down and collection.

General Information for All Hire Pickups and Collections
Customers must ensure all items are returned in the same condition as received, free of damage, stains, or excessive wear. Equipment must be returned within the agreed hire period, which ranges from three hours to one week or longer, depending on the booking terms. Late returns may incur additional charges unless previously arranged with Escena.

In the event of accidental damage, loss, or theft, notify Escena immediately. Any repair or replacement costs will be charged as per the terms of the agreement. To avoid additional fees, customers are encouraged to check all items prior to collection and confirm no pieces are missing.

For a smooth collection process, use the provided QR code or text communication to notify us if you leave the event early. This helps us minimize any inconvenience and ensure timely collection.

Security Bond Refund
The security bond refund process will be initiated within 12 to 24 hours after your event. Please note that refunds can take up to 10 days to appear in your payment account. Thank you for helping us maintain the quality and reliability of our hire services.
